I’m a Chicago-based genderqueer artist specializing in directing, performance, and photography. Originally from New York (where I grew up as the only child of two old-school journalists), I’m a graduate of the University of Chicago’s Theatre and Performance Studies program. My preferred pronouns are they, them, theirs.

It was at UChicago that I unexpectedly caught the directing bug, and, many productions later, I can confirm that I seldom feel more fulfilled than when leading a rehearsal room. I’m thrilled to live and work in beautiful Chicago, where I get to make dope art with my theater company, Chimera Ensemble, for which I proudly serve as Managing Director.

When I’m not in rehearsals or sending long emails for Chimera, you’ll find me at my day job in the Member and Donor Services division of the Art Institute of Chicago, spending quality time petsitting, or playing Dungeons and Dragons with my crew.
